About Us

Chase Bridge first opened as a Primary School in 1953. Today we are a three form entry Community Primary School and nursery in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, with about 640 pupils. Once we are fully three form throughout the school we will have around 680 children.

Our location is unique: we have two special neighbours, the Rugby Football Union in Twickenham Stadium and the Royal Military School of Music at Kneller Hall. We are also close to the Harlequins ground, The Stoop, and many of our families are passionate rugby supporters!

In recent years the school has undergone a programme of expansion and refurbishment to allow us to accommodate the additional classes – children, staff and parents are all very proud of our ‘new’ school!

At Chase Bridge we set high standards of work and behaviour. We expect all members of the school community – children, staff, parents and governors – to work together to maintain these standards and for children to work purposefully towards achieving their best at all times. Our school motto is Excel at Learning; Express Your Talents; Care for Others.
